Ann has been involved in the financial industry for over 30 years and specifically in mortgage lending for the last 20 years. She is involved in the National & Wisconsin Association of Mortgage Broker, Lakeside Evening Kiwanis and Executive Women's Golf Association.

In her spare time, she enjoys golf and spending time with her family.

Paula Thalacker has been actively involved in the real estate and lending industries since 1977. She worked as a real estate broker/manager for 10 years before making a change to the title insurance field. While serving as a closing coordinator for a title company, interest in the mortgage industry developed. When the opportunity to work as a loan originator presented itself, Paula decided to make the transition to lending. It was exciting to join Ann Hupfer as an owner of Mortgage Specialists, LLC.

Sheila is a life long resident of the Fond du Lac area who prides herself in building relationships. She has been in the financing industry for 26 years and continues to help her long time customers with their financing needs. Her promise is to walk you through the maze of financing and assist you in the product that fits your needs. She continues to give back to the community by helping such organizations as the United Way, Association of Commerce, Youth for Christ, Sigma, Hospice, Blue Line Hockey, Whitetails Unlimited and serves as an auctioneer for many fund raising events.

Sheila and her husband Chuck, have two daughters, Stacey and Bridget and 3 grandchildren, Logan, Kaine and Adeline. She enjoys photography and walking in the park.

Lynn is a long time Fond du Lac County resident. She has worked in the banking industry for over 20 years and is anxious to use her knowledge and exceptional customer service skills to help you finance or refinance your home. As part of the Mortgage Specialists team, Lynn will have a vast array of mortgage products available to meet your specific needs. She is looking forward to building client relationships that will make her become your "Lender for Life".

Lynn is a member of the Fond du Lac Noon Kiwanis and also volunteers for other non-profit organizations. Her favorite hobby is working in her flower garden.

Michael Opheim (Loan Officer)

Mortgage Specialists would like to welcome Michael Opheim to our team of lending professionals in Fond du Lac. Michael joins our team with over 5 years of residential mortgage lending experience in the Fond du Lac area and looks forward seeing all of his existing customers and all his new customers in our office as part of our ongoing promise to be your "Lender for Life".

Michael and his wife, Annette, live with their two children, Jonathan, a Freshman at Laconia High School, and Allison, a 6th grader at Rosendale Intermediate School, on their horse farm in Pickett where they breed and show registered quarter horses. Michael is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 734 in Rosendale and Annette is a Horse Project Leader with the 4-H club in Rosendale. When not at his desk or on the telephone helping customers sort through their home financing options, you will probably find him on his tractor or helping out with the horses and other animals on their farm.
